Around 5 weeks ago I was lucky enough asked to head along, once again, to the the lovely Tontine Hotel in Greenock to photograph the Scottish part of Jonny and Nicole’s wedding reception.
The couple who married a few weeks earlier in Cyprus decided to have a wedding reception locally for those that couldn’t make it out to the sunny tropics.
Just like any wedding reception I cover, I treated it the same way I would as wedding and manage to get the lovely Jonny and Nicole outside for some night shots in the gardens of the bowling green across the street from the hotel.
Following the shots in the garden I manage to grab the couple again for some more shots inside the hotel taking advantage of their gorgeous amazing staircase, doorways and the fantastic glass dome at the top of their stairs.
It’s not often now that wedding cakes blow me away but just check out this amazing cake with a rose suspended from a dome in the centre. Absolutely stunning to say the least.
The guests were entertained by the fantastic River Island band who had them on their feet for the entire evening and were a pleasure to work alongside.
When you work with a couple who are quite clearly in love with one another the photographs come naturally and you can see that this amazing couple are destined for a life time of happiness together.
I would also like to thank Martin from Martin Cheung Photography for his technical help on the day.
