When it comes to christenings in Inverclyde there is one venue that suits every photographer who does Greenock Christening Photography and that is St. Patrick’s Church located in the Orangefield area of Greenock. With light pouring in from outside through immense windows at the alter there is almost little to no need for flash so it was fantastic to return to the church and shoot Luna’s christening photos.
Baby Luna was absolutely gorgeous in her christening gown and the service by Fr. John Morrison was flawless and lovely as usual, even managing to get in a wee laugh or two from the congregation during the service.
The weather on the day wasn’t fantastic and it really didn’t know whether it wanted to rain or be sunny so I was unsure if we would be able to grab any outdoor shots at the Victoria Bowling Club. Just after 30 minutes or so of being there I saw a lovely break in the clouds and got a few people outside for some nice photos overlooking the bowling green.
Of course a christening wouldn’t be a christening unless there was cake (right?) and Luna had a fantastic cake for her christening. Adorned with a crescent moon and a star to suit her name perfectly.
It was such a lovely day and you really could see how much Luna was loved and would be spoiled by her family and families friends.
